About Norfolk Accident Rescue Service: NARS

The Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS) is a lifesaving emergency medical charity working across Norfolk. Our team includes highly skilled doctors, critical care paramedics, nurses, and first responders who bring hospital-level treatment straight to the scene of the most serious 999 emergencies, such as cardiac arrests, major trauma, and road traffic collisions. Most of our clinicians are dedicated volunteers who give their time freely, while a small number are paid for by the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) to ensure this critical support is always available. Together, they form a vital part of Norfolk’s emergency response network - often making the difference between life and death.
