We are looking for a few people who can help us staff the kitchen at our events. We are particularly interested in people who already have a Food Hygience Certificate or are willing to get one if we cover the costs.
We hold monthly events, which are almost entirely donation funded. Our volunteers will tackle all sorts of broken items – from electronics to textiles and everything in between, and we never charge for repairs.
The café is an essential part of our events and the teas and cakes we sell help us raise the funds we need to pay for the venue hire. If you can help, please get in touch.
The events are usually held once a month on a Saturday, in a community centre in Norwich, from 9:30am to 2pm. We don't expect any one volunteer to commit to the whole time. Since we move around every month, we can arrange lifts across the city when needed.
