About South Norfolk Symphonic Band

South Norfolk Symphonic Band, founded in 1974, is a mixed-ability community band of over 50 members aged 8 to 75. Entirely self-funded, it raises thousands for charity through regular concerts and international tours. Highlights include performances for HRH The Princess Royal and winning the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. Open to all passionate musicians, the band fosters friendship and joy through music.
