Join the Board of Tend Collective Community Interest Company and help shape a sustainable, relational approach to supporting children’s mental health in Norfolk
Tend is a community interest company based on evidence that safe, healthy relationships change lives. We provide therapeutic support and create spaces that feel human, relational, and accessible. Alongside our clinical work, room hire helps us generate income to increase access to mental health support across Norfolk.
We’re now at a point where we’d really value someone with financial expertise to help guide our next stage of growth.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong financial experience (e.g. accounting, financial management, CFO-level thinking)
- Confidence interpreting and questioning financial information
- Ability to support sustainable, values-led decision making
- Interest in community work, mental health, or purpose-driven organisations
What the role involves:
- Attending quarterly board meetings (with occasional additional input)
- Providing oversight and guidance on financial planning and sustainability
- Supporting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy
- Offering constructive challenge and helping us think clearly
What you’ll get:
- A chance to meaningfully support a growing community interest company with a different (and highly needed!) approach to mental health support
- Work alongside a thoughtful, values-led team
- Use your skills in a way that directly impacts access to support in the community
This is a voluntary role, in line with most CIC board positions.
If this sounds like a good fit, or you’re curious and want an informal chat, we’d love to hear from you.
