Looking for someone who would like to use their admin skills and who shares our passion for improving children's mental health in the community.
Tend Collective CIC is looking for a Volunteer Administrator to help us strengthen the systems behind our work supporting children's mental health and family wellbeing.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving and making things run more smoothly. You will support the day-to-day running of our growing Community Interest Company through administration, improving systems, supporting programmes and helping us find practical solutions to challenges as they arise.
We are looking for someone who connects with Tend's mission and wants to use their skills to make a meaningful difference. Your contribution will help create the structure and capacity that allows our team to continue providing relational, evidence-informed support to children, families and communities.
In this role, you may support with:
- Organising and maintaining digital files, records and systems.
- Supporting the administration of workshops, groups and community activities.
- Helping with bookings, attendance tracking and participant communications.
- Supporting room hire administration and general enquiries.
- Assisting with basic finance administration, such as organising invoices and records.
- Helping improve processes and create clearer ways of working as Tend grows.
- Troubleshooting smaller practical issues and helping find solutions.
- Identifying tasks that could be streamlined or made more efficient.
We are looking for someone who:
- Believes in Tend's mission and wants to contribute to improving children's mental health by supporting the adults around them.
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage tasks independently.
- Has good attention to detail and enjoys creating order.
- Is confident using computers and learning new digital systems.
- Enjoys problem-solving and finding practical solutions.
- Can communicate clearly and work collaboratively with a small team.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
You may have experience in administration, charity or community organisations, digital systems, finance, communications or another area that could bring value to our team. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who shares our values and wants to use their skills to help Tend grow.
By volunteering with Tend, you will gain experience of how a small, purpose-led organisation operates, develop your skills, and be part of a team working to improve children's mental health by supporting the adults around them.
