About The Green Cell Project

The Green Cell Project is a new UK charity that combines commercial horticulture with significant social impact in UK prisons. We teach prisoners how grow flowers which we sell to Garden Designers both for their clients' gardens and for Show Gardens they're designing at Royal Horticultural Society events. The charity will generate income from the sale of flowers & flower seeds & reinvest the profits into training and employment opportunities for people serving time in prison and after release. Our primary aims and objectives are to reduce reoffending, improve the mental health of people in prison and to offer them a hope and a future with careers in horticulture & landscaping.
