We are looking for volunteers who can provide administrative support for our excitingHospitality and Employability projects within a happy and positive team.
Detailed description
We are looking for volunteers who can provide administrative support for our exciting
Hospitality and Employability projects within a happy, positive and forward-looking team.
No professional experience is necessary but you do need to be able to perform admin tasks, including developing and using spreadsheets with minimal supervision.
We anticipate that this role will be up to 15-20 hours/week which can be shared by 2 volunteers. You will be based in our vibrant Recovery Hub in Norwich. We are flexible about which day suits you.
Hospitality & Catering
· Budgeting
· Tracking and reporting on spend and income
· Researching recipes and producing purchase lists
Employability
· Document collation and tracking for qualifications
· Supporting people to complete their qualifications
· Researching opportunities and supporting events
A Volunteer Administrator must also abide with strict confidentiality rules.
Personal qualities are also important such as:-
· good listening skills
· positive attitude
· reliability
· good communication skills
· commitment to recovery principles
Out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. References and a DBS check will be required. We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds and life experiences.

As well as the individuals themselves, our work also creates social change and improvements to the local community in a range of different ways. These include improved family relationships and friendships, reductions in drug/alcohol misuse, reduced strain on local health and wellbeing services, reductions in rates of offending, and improved skills and employment outcomes for our service users, all of which help to regenerate the local community.
