Tuckswood Gardeners

Tuckswood gardeners look after a number of neglected communal spaces around the estate, we are slowly transforming them into miniature oasis's to attract all forms of wildlife variety of birds, butterflies, bees & other insects with seeds, pollen for them to help in pollination also as a food for them. In doing so the council have been a great supporter they have arranged for the uneven slabs to be relaid renewed the benches making it a pleasant space for residents and their children to enjoy. We also look after 10 raised beds 9 containing a variety of vegetables for the community to help themselves to, have numerous compost bins to break down organic matterwhich in turn is put back on the beds to grow the next years crop in. We have a good selection of donated tools to help us a garage to work out of & a variety of teas to keep us going
