We are looking for helpful volunteers to support our vision impaired clients at outdoor tennis sessions.
In this active volunteering role, you will support our vision impaired clients at outdoor tennis sessions at Waterloo Park.
The sessions will take place on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, from 11.00 am - 12 noon, starting from Friday 17th April 2026. The sessions are run by a Lawn Tennis Association coach supported by a great team of volunteers, like you!
We are looking for volunteers who:
- Play tennis or have some knowledge of the game
- Are reasonably fit and able to easily move around
- Are patient, empathetic and who enjoy helping others and being outdoors!
If you are only able to make some of the sessions, then that's fine too, please do get in touch!
Sighted guide training will be provided to all new volunteers and we are happy to reimburse all approved travel expenses.
