Our friendly team of volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to transport Norfolk patients to their essential medical appointments across East Anglia.
Volunteer drivers offer a crucial door-to-door service for walking patients in the local community and provide them with transport to essential medical appointments at hospitals, clinics and treatment centres.
- Transport patients in a caring and sensitive manner
- Ensure they are taken to/from the correct destination as scheduled
- Be genuinely interested in the welfare of others
We are seeking a regular commitment of at least 3 hours a week. Full training and support will be given. Mileage expenses are reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines (45p/mile for the first 10,000 miles annually and 25p/mile thereafter).
