Summary

WISEArchive seeks keen Workflow Co-ordinator volunteer for oral history stories. Should live within easy access to NORWICH for attendance at regular meetings.

Detailed description

WISEArchive seeks a workflow coordinator to help with our core work around recording memories of working life. The role requires someone with good database and IT skills, also good communication skills as the role involves communication with other WISEArchive volunteers.

Tasks would include: Distributing recordings among volunteers for processing; logging all completed work and recordings, and undertaking some transcription and/or story editing if needed. Proof reading ability and a knowledge of posting material on a website would be useful but not essential.

Essential skills: Ability to communicate clearly and positively with others; attendance at monthly meetings in Norwich as this is a communication role; willingness to keep in regular contact with WISEArchive management; good computer skills (Word, Excel, databases etc) with reliable computer and broadband access.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the work, social and cultural aspects of Norfolk and may suit someone recently retired who would like to join an enthusiastic group of volunteers. Work is from home but easy access to Norwich is required to enable attendance at monthly meetings.

Further information will be given on request and if you wish to proceed, we'll arrange to meet with you.
