About Wymondham Abbey

Wymondham Abbey is a magnificent building that has been at the heart of our community for over 900 years, but it is far more than just a building. Every year thousands of people come through its doors; people who join us for worship, those who come as tourists and those who simply drop by to light a candle, say a prayer and enjoy the very special atmosphere. The Abbey shop is located inside the church selling gifts, books and souvenirs. Our shop volunteers do 1-3hr shifts from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 10am and 4pm. If you can spare a few hours a month and are interested in joining our friendly and supportive team of volunteers in a beautiful, historic and serene environment we would love to hear from you!
