Work with the Autism Support Pathways Group to improve access, quality, and visibility of support for autistic people in Norfolk using your lived or professiona

Key Responsibilities

  • Share insights and feedback on autism support services from personal or community experience.
  • Contribute to reviewing and promoting the Norfolk Autism Directory by identifying gaps and recommending services to include.
  • Support the development of a Norfolk Autism Quality Mark to recognise autism-friendly organisations.
  • Co-produce or review guidance and resources to help community services become more accessible for autistic people.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating Quick Reference Guides to ensure they are current and useful.
  • Attend and contribute to bi-monthly working group meetings, helping set priorities and actions collaboratively.


Person Specification

We welcome applications from:

  • Autistic people of all ages with lived experience of navigating support pathways.
  • Parents or carers of autistic people with insight into local services.
  • Individuals from the community, voluntary, education, health, or care sectors who are passionate about accessible support.

You should be:

  • Willing to share constructive feedback based on experience.
  • Open to listening, collaborating, and working in a co-productive way.
  • Committed to promoting autism-friendly practice across Norfolk.


Time Commitment​

  • Attend online meetings every two months via Microsoft Teams.
  • Occasionally contribute to resource development or email feedback between meetings.
  • Additional optional involvement in task-and-finish groups or pilot activities.


Support and Involvement Fee

  • All members are voluntary, but you will receive an involvement fee for attending meetings, in recognition of your time and contribution.
  • We offer reasonable adjustments to support accessibility and participation (e.g. visual aids, communication support, flexible scheduling).
  • A group lead or coordinator is available to provide one-to-one support as needed.
