Detailed description

Events volunteers act as ambassadors for the Broads Authority. As an organisation, the Broads Authority runs and attends a number of events every year and we are looking for volunteers to promote an understanding of the Broads to a wide audience. Events volunteers will assist with activities, interactive displays and discussions. The key attributes we're looking for in the role is an enthusiasm to engage with people, talking about the remarkable qualities of the Broads.

We are looking for individuals who can help for the equivalent of at least 6 days per year. These could be full days or partial days (e.g. helping with set-up and/or take-down activities at the start and end of the event). Events run during the week and at weekends and take place all year round, however our peak season is March to October.

Application: Via the Broads Authority's Volunteer Opportunities website page.

About Broads Authority

Volunteering is a great way to make friends, get outside and contribute to the running of the Broads National Park. The Broads began their life as peat diggings which means that due to their human-made nature they're in need of maintenance all year round to benefit the wildlife, boaters, locals and tourists alike.
