As an Awareness Ambassador, you can play an important role in increasing awareness of diabetes locally and online.Detailed description
Diabetes UK is a national charity, supporting people who live with or are at risk of developing diabetes. Our vision is a world where diabetes can do no harm. We’re leading the fight against the UK's biggest and fastest growing health crisis. And it's a fight that involves us all – sharing knowledge and taking on diabetes together. You will:
- Let us know what is happening in your area, so that we can become involved.
- Support Diabetes UK campaigns, with particular focus on our 4Ts campaign to highlight the symptoms of diabetes.
- Distribute leaflets and posters at local community venues such as GP & Dentist surgeries, libraries, and community centres.
The skills you need:
- No previous experience or specific skills, just be excited to get involved!
- Access to a smart phone or tablet/laptop/computer.
