New-U is a charity which brings together a community of people passionate about sustainability and social mobility. Our pre-loved clothing boutique in the heart of Norwich city centre offers an accessible and alternative shopping experience, where customers are awarded loyalty points for their clothing donations which can act as a discount in store. Our passion to save the environment and improve social mobility is delivered through:
• Work placements for unemployed young adults who desperately need work experience and mentoring to enable them to achieve their potential
• Workshops themed around employability skills to increase young people's confidence and self-esteem for the work place
• Free smart clothing to those with financial barriers to accessing appropriate wear for job interviews or other occasions
• Free upcycling workshops bringing people together to craft sustainable and connect with their local community
