Summary

We are looking for a volunteer with an interest in art to join our Drop in and Draw session at Earlham Library on a Friday afternoon.

Detailed description

Drop in and Draw volunteers help customers visiting the library to learn new art and drawing skills and encourage experimentation with different media and using different art styles.


Volunteers help to:


  • Engaging with participants and help them choose a subject to draw
  • Encouraging participants to try new materials, media and skills
  • Giving participants confidence to keep drawing at home, or in between sessions
  • (Optional) To assist in the displaying of art produced at Drop in and Draw exhibitions or displays


Volunteers should have an Interest in art and/or drawing, good communication skills and they must enjoy working with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.


The group at Earlham Library is an existing group that is well attended and so needs a further volunteer to support it. Sessions take place on a Friday afternoon from 2.00-4.00pm.
