Summary
We are looking for a volunteer to lead a new Lego Club on Saturday afternoons.Detailed description
The purpose of this role is to offer support in running Lego-themed activities within the library, usually on a weekly basis.
Main duties are:
- Assist children and their parents with taking part in Lego building themed activities
- As part of a team, help with publicising and organising events and activities
- To act as a link between staff and the attendees so sessions run smoothly
Key qualities include:
- An interest in Lego and how it can be used to facilitate education and social outcomes such as teamwork and problem solving
- Creative thinking to come up with new ideas for projects
- Friendly and helpful approach
- Willing to help others grow their skills
Sessions will take place on Saturdays from 2-3pm at Diss Library.
