The Volunteer Passport programme includes 5 Level 1 core training modules provided by Norfolk Adult Learning in:
Introduction to Volunteering
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Health and Safety
Safeguarding Adults and Children
Person-centred working
You will also receive:
Support during the training programme
Help to find a volunteering role, if needed
Registration with Volunteer Passport scheme with a certificate of completion and an ID badge
Once you have completed the programme you will be able to use the Volunteer Passport database to keep a record of your volunteering activity, further training and other information which you can then share with organisations when applying for volunteering roles.
Please note this course is being delivered online and will consist of a 1 hour introduction session and four 2 hour sessions (one session per week).
The Introduction session will be held on June 5th at 6pm and the course will be delivered over the following 4 weeks, the dates of which are Wednesdays the 12th, 19th and 26th June and 3rd July between 6pm and 8pm each date
You need to attend all training sessions to complete the Passport Training.

Please Note: Due to funding, to participate in this course free of charge you must meet the following eligibility criteria.
General Eligibility:
· Is living in Norfolk and has given a Norfolk postcode
· Was aged 19 or over on 31st August 2023 (unless enrolling on a family learning course)
· Is UK National who has continuously lived in the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA) (which includes the EU) for the last 3 years, or
· An EEA National that has obtained pre-settled status or settle status before 31st December 2020 and has continuously lived in the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA) (which includes the EU) for the last 3 years, or
· Covered by an exception, for example asylum seeker or refugee.
Funding Eligibility - you must also meet at least one of the following criteria:
· Unemployed and claiming benefits
· Employed and earning under £20,319 per year
· Aged 66+ and retired with an income of under £20,319 per year
· Studying English or Maths and do not have an existing GCSE at grade C/4 in that subject
· Studying ICT and do not have an existing level 1 qualification in ICT
· Studying a Lipreading course
· Attending an Independent Living Skills programme.
