What will you be doing:
Join us for the second edition of the Foundation’s Race Against the Sun walking challenge! We are looking for 20 dedicated volunteers to assist participants on their 47-mile trek along the breathtaking North Norfolk coast. We have a variety of rewarding roles available, including: ·
- Vehicle transport drivers (D1 licensed drivers) – Help safely transport equipment
- Rest stop support – Assist with setting up and providing refreshments to walkers
- Event logistics – Set up signage along the route
- First aid support – If appropriately qualified, provide medical assistance if needed.
Your support will make a huge difference in ensuring a successful and enjoyable experience for all participants.
What makes an ideal volunteer:
- Age 18+
- Enthusiastic, personable, proactive and willing to react positively to change
- Ability to do some light manual handling
- Prior involvement in the event or experience volunteering at a similar event is desirable
- Individuals or groups welcome
