The purpose of this role is to support the Loans Manager and Norwich Credit Loans Committee.
Main Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to support the Loans Manager and Norwich Credit Union Credit Committee to:
Apply Norwich Credit Union Loans Policy & Procedures.
Provide a timely service to members.
Protect the interests of Norwich Credit Union and its members.
Tasks
1. Deal with enquiries regarding and administer Family Loans to the point of payment.
2. Deal with enquiries and administer Helping Hands Loans to the point of payment.
3. Monitor Loan Applications that are registered with Norwich Credit Union but not processed and assess what action is to be taken.
4. Take action to deal with next steps regarding Loan Applications where needed eg Credit Check, Open Banking checks.
5. Contact the person/member regarding these and make the necessary arrangements.
6. Refer correspondence to others, as appropriate.
