Summary

We are looking for a Volunteer Fundraising Assistant to help the Fundraising and Community Engagement Manager deliver a variety of fundraising initiatives.

Detailed description

Volunteering is a fantastic way of giving back to your local community and our existing volunteers tell us they find the experience enjoyable and rewarding for many reasons including opportunities to develop new skills, meet new people or stay active and keep their minds stimulated. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and compassionate volunteer with good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to support our Fundraising and Community Engagement Manager in the administration of fundraising activities such as arranging the delivery and collection of collection tins; counting coins; organising bucket collections and promoting and managing the 200 Club.

This is a voluntary role and as such no reimbursement will be made for any time given to support this activity. Travel costs and any service-related expenditure incurred on behalf of the charity will be reimbursed.

Full training will be provided. Candidates are subject to a DBS check.
