Writing is a powerful tool for self-expression. It can stimulate the imagination, improve vocabulary and help with confidence and wellbeing.
Since we were founded in 1943, we have aimed to encourage the art and craft of writing by providing a supportive, friendly group for members to grow their skills and build connections within the writing community.
We are a not-for-profit members' group run by volunteers.
