Summary

We are looking for a trainee Singing for Health song/session leader to join us during our Autumn sessions in North Walsham.

Detailed description

This role isn't about just being a competent musician/vocalist, or even a vocal coach or singing tutor. It is all about facilitating engagement amongst our participants to maximise their enjoyment and active participation in song and with others! It's extremely rewarding and we would hope that, by joining us on a voluntary basis during our Autumn series in North Walsham, you will gain sufficient confidence to lead songs and/or sessions for us next year on a paid basis (unfortunately, however, this is always subject to us gaining sufficient funds!). The field of Singing for Health is gaining momentum nationally, with a range of learning possibilities. This role would suit someone who would really like to grow into this type of work. We work with a range of people of all ages and abilities in our communities, some with long-term health conditions or disabilities. You will naturally be required to have a DBS check but please get in touch for an informal chat about any aspect of this opportunity. We look forward to meeting you!
