Marvellous Mums - Mothering Support Group

Marvellous Mums is a weekly group for new mums to come together, meet other mums, relax, rest and be nurtured. Its a place where mums can share their experiences, find a listening ear, feel supported and also have someone bring them a cup of tea.

Volunteering at Marvellous Mums involves helping Robyn to welcome mums on arrival, check in with them about how they are and make them a hot cup of tea or coffee. We provide a simple breakfast and later offer a piece of delicious cake too, so these need to be prepared and served. Help is required with washing up and general clearing up at the end of the session.

Robyn runs the session each week and an extra pair of hands to help with these jobs would be really appreciated.

The role is very simple but the impact you will have on the mums that attend is huge. It is a challenging time for new mums and a listening ear and hot cup of tea really do make all the difference.
