Our Monday Movie Cinema club needs a lead and a support volunteer for one evening per month supporting people with disabilities to enjoy a trip to the cinema.
Our Monday Movies Cinema Club relaunches in October to support small groups of adults with disabilities to access films on a Monday evening based at the Vue Cinema, or Odeon cinemas in Norwich. We are looking for two volunteers to host and support a small group of 6 - 8 adults with disabilities who will meet you in the cinema foyer and you can support them to buy tickets and refreshments and then watch the film together, making sure they get away safely.
We can offer you training in better understanding the needs of our members, and safeguarding, and will offer you a refund of your travel expenses in supporting this activity.
You will also join a team of over 70 volunteers and have the opportunity to support any of the 250-300 activities that we offer throughout the year.
