Summary
This group will help make key decisions by providing advice, experience, and expertise all with the aim of supporting The Village Orchard to thrive and grow.Detailed description
We are a not-for-profit, trauma responsive organisation, with a goal of providing personalised psychological support through individual sessions and group work.
The Village Orchard opened in October 2019 with an aim to support anyone wishing to access trauma responsive, mental health support, including those who have been turned away from or unable to access the help they need elsewhere.
We are now in a position to grow and develop our organisation and as part of this we are creating an Advisory Group. This group will help make key decisions by providing advice, experience, and expertise all with the aim of supporting The Village Orchard to thrive and grow.
We are looking for a small group of individuals who can volunteer their time to be part of our Advisory Group and to broaden the diversity of the team’s skill set. We want people with a passion for mental health, (possibly with your own lived experience of mental health struggles) and with expertise in any of the following areas:
- Finance (accounting/budgeting/forecasting)
- Business and Strategy Development
- Fundraising
- Legal Expertise
You will need to be able to commit a minimum of two hours every four months, with occasional Ad Hoc advice potentially required.
We fully intend to Co-Produce the Advisory Group with its members.
If you know you have the skills, experience and passion we are looking for and would like to be part of a progressive and inclusive organisation, please send your CV and a little bit about yourself and why you are interested in this post.
