Summary
Research donated items so that they can be put on sale in our eBay online store and fetch good prices.Detailed description
Our eBay team needs more volunteers to help value donated goods, then photograph and list them for sale.
We'd like you to research and identify items so that we can make the best of every donation that comes in. We hope you'll help us spot the gems and help raise funds for the hospice.
Can you.....
- research and value the wide assortment of items donated
- create eye catching pictures for our listings
- write accurate and compelling descriptions to attract buyers to bid
Or you might prefer to pack and post sold items from our busy dispatch area, or take in new donations and store them appropriately - we'd love to hear from you.
Tell us if you have a particular area of interest or speciality? It could be antiques, collectables, books, music, gaming, jewellery, cameras and so on. We’ll make use of your expertise in the research and preparation of our listings!
You'll get full training in pleasant and friendly surroundings - you'd be based at our eBay office in King's Lynn.
About The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House
The support provided is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way, ensuring dignity is maintained throughout.
Care is delivered at the hospice in Hillington, either in the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Unit or via one-to-one sessions at the hospice. Care is sometimes provided in people’s own homes.
The current services cost over £2.5 million per year to run; the NHS funds only 32% of this, with the majority coming from the support of local groups, businesses and individuals.
